IE Business School’s International MBA is the 6th in the world in the biannual ranking published by Forbes magazine, within the category of one-year programs of non-US business schools. This biannual ranking assesses the return on investment made by graduates of business schools around the world five years after completing their MBA.
The 2014 MBA graduates of IE Business School registered an average salary increase of $104,300 in the 5-year period after graduation.
There are three categories in the Forbes ranking: US business school MBA programs; one-year MBA programs outside the US; and two-year MBA programs outside the US. IE Business School occupies the leading position in Spain and 6th in the world in the category of one-year MBA programs outside the US. This recognition follows the number one in the world position obtained by IE Business School in the 2019 ranking of Online MBA programs by the British organization QS.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
92% of IE Business School’s International MBA students are international, coming from more than 70 countries this year, with almost six years on average professional experience. The one-year program, which is taught in English and Spanish allows students to tailor their studies, based on their interests and professional development plans. Students can be trained as creators, take an entrepreneurial approach track; transformers, if they want to develop their career as managers in the corporate world; innovators or disruptors.
In addition, they can choose from more than 100 elective courses to personalize their training experience, as well as developing consulting projects or working on social projects in South Africa, Ethiopia, Peru or Brazil. International MBA students can also participate in the Post MBA Long Exchange Program, a 3-month exchange from any one of 58 business schools worldwide such as Chicago Booth (USA) NYU Stern (USA), GIBS-Gordon Institute of Business Science (South Africa), London Business School (United Kingdom) or Tsinghua (China), among others.
